野菜嫌いな私が会社員時代に畑へ行って気がついたことは、農業に食以外の一面があるということ。

 

農家さんが当たり前にしている習慣、野菜が育つ場所、畑の匂い、農業機械も何もかも。

 

綺麗なところもそうでないところも全てに不思議な魅力がある。

 

普段見るトマトが食べ物以外に見えた瞬間、面白いことに食への興味も湧いてきました。

 

この体験を通して、農業を、生産者と消費者をつなぐ美術作品として向き合い・広めたいと思いました。

 

 

When I was an office worker, I went to the field and realized that there was another side to agriculture besides food. The daily habits of the farmers, the places where vegetables are grown, the smell of the fields, agricultural machinery, and everything. There are mysterious charms in everything, whether it is beautiful or not. The more I started seeing ordinary tomatoes as something other than food, the more I became interested in food. Through this experience, I wanted to approach and promote agriculture as an artwork that connects producers and consumers.
